About
I usually cant fill these columns too well. I always underrate and over criticize myself or end up writing it so unsatisfactorily that I compulsively edit this space every time I log in. After all, I am letting the world have their first insight into me. To project an as-accurate-as-possible, an un-ostentatious image, I think, is near impossible. So, this time, I wanna just let it be. But its really no rocket science to figure me out. My posts sure reveal much more about me than I willing reveal while writing them. All I can muster to say now is that I am the sort who loves life’s idiosyncrasies. I just cant seem to overlook the ironies that nag us. The principle of retribution just wont let us be, I realise. I live every single moment in complete awareness of this – while I am at work at Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi as the Head of Corporate Communications, while I am wrestling with books that I struggle to read these days, and while I sit in meditation to Pt Rajshekhar Mansur’s music (which will hopefully change to rendering Pt Rajshekhar Mansur’s music in my subsequent edits). Any other decorations to my personality are simply ’strings attached.’
Cynically yours,
Sindhu (Murthy) Kaushik

Wow, nice intro.
Actually, you are doing quite well, despite all your obsessive compulsive edits
In the TV series Kung-fu, the young Caine asks his master “what is a human being”
to which the shaolin monk replies:
A human being is 3 things :
- what he thinks he is
- what others think he is
- what he really is
I am sure you’ll share all 3 things about yourself in the blog
Gud luck friend,

Hi Sindhu,
You have done me a great favour by publishing the photograph of the 19th descendant of Sri krishnadevaraya.I am fanatical about the history of vijayanagar kings and I literally follow every document of the dynasty be it inscription, letters, travelogues by ancient travellers, epigraphy et al and I have read and made my own notes.I did not know about the existence of the descendants. Thanks and love u so much for this article.U made me feel great. But did you check out the proof of the claim any evidence for that matter. Please respond on my email.
Thanks
