I hate you. Like I love you.

Your calm visage

Those controlled glances

Tear into my soul

Leave my tattered heart

That bleeding heart

In ruthless abandon.

I detest your calm visage

I am loathe to your loving glances

I cry louder than your loving pleas

My heart begs you to let me

Go far away

Fly away. Away. Insignificance. Inconsequence. Nonsense.

If it were my raging body and burning heart

That you keep stoking

With your loving embrace

You might be beckoning to the

Crouching demon within me.

But I love you.

I hate you nonetheless.
